MOSES MAGGID IS KILLED
Well Known Teakean Man Crushed By Load of Poles in Accident on Grade Near Peck.
Word reached the city last night of the death at Peck of Moses Maggid, a well-known resident of the Teakean section of the Potlatch country, his death resulting from injuries received on Saturday when he was caught beneath a load of poles, after a wagon he was driving had upset on a grade near Peck.
Dr. Lyle, of Peck, was summoned to attend the patient, but it was realized the injuries received were of a fatal character. The man had suffered a fracture of the hip and internal injuries resulted in severe hemorrhages of the stomach. The deceased had resided in the Teakean section for a number of years and was well known.
